Summer Success Camps: Empowering Young Minds for a Brighter Future

At United Way Regina, we believe every child deserves the opportunity to thrive, especially during the critical summer months. Our Summer Success Camps are designed to bridge the gap between school years, ensuring that children not only maintain but enhance their learning and personal growth during summer break.

Children from underserved communities are also disproportionally at risk to have a learning loss or ‘slide’ over the summer if they are not engaged in reading, oral language and access to books. This ‘slide’ is equivalent to 2 months’ worth of skill loss for each summer.

What We Offer

1. Engaging Literacy Programs:
Our camps provide a range of fun filled literacy-focused activities that make reading fun and engaging. Through interactive storytelling,  we help children develop strong reading skills and a lifelong love for learning.

2. Diverse Enrichment Opportunities:
In addition to literacy, our camps offer a variety of enrichment activities designed to stimulate creativity and curiosity. From hands-on experiments and artistic projects to interactive games and outdoor explorations, these programs foster well-rounded development and help children discover new interests and skills.

We understand that a healthy body supports a healthy mind. Our camps provide nutritious meals and snacks, ensuring that children have the energy and focus they need to fully participate in all activities.
