As part of the Campaign for Grade Level Reading plan, Read Across Regina celebrates the importance of childhood reading
Join the celebration! Donate $30 and a young student from one of our 12 community schools will be gifted with a reading kit filled with literacy items such as:
- A book of their very own to help build their at home library
- Bookmark
- Pencil
- Activity book
- Word families poster
- Sweet treat individually wrapped to celebrate literacy
- Other fun items to help get children excited about reading
- Reading themed postcard with an inspiring message from you!
You can make their day a little better, and we hope helping makes your day a little better, too!
If we reach our goal of 350 Reading Kits, BlueSky Financial Planning will donate $10,000 for the implementation of a Classroom Library at one of our 12 Campaign for Grade Level Reading Community Schools.
Classroom libraries are incredibly valuable to the students and teachers who are lucky enough to have one in their room. Classroom libraries help increase student’s access to books, and allow them to engage in reading more often. Children learn to read by reading daily.
Draw to choose the Classroom Library location will be done by BlueSky Financial in early 2024!
